Casio PX-130 : Learn This Before You Buy
Casio PX-130 has the traditional and uncluttered look of an actual piano. PX 130 has minimal buttons and lights. There isn't any screen. You can be satisfied that these keys are attached to a giant, wood cabinet in the form of a standard piano. It can look right at home, in a studio, a church, or a living room. It's completely amazing. The texture is fantastic, the sound is gorgeous, and the touch feels just right to me. It is not like playing an another product and in fact better than any other keyboard I've ever played.
You'll not be upset by how the keys would feel. The weighted action on each key offers, in my opinion, 90% of the texture of a real acoustic piano. Low notes have a stiffer keyboard feel than higher notes, like a "actual" piano. The sounds are glorious as nicely, based on sampled acoustic pianos. For people who have been playing piano for years, and if the thing didn't sound and feel proper, you definitely wouldn't going to get it. If you have heard and appreciated how it sounded online, however was afraid that you would end up not to prefer it because of how it actually sounds, simply go to a neighborhood retailer and play with one for an hour or so.
As for the speaker volume, it's simply loud enough for use in a small group setting with different instruments. Of course, you may all the time plug it into a sound system or use a keyboard amp to get more volume, but for most of my purposes, it is good as is.
In case you are excited about buying an acoustic piano on your house, do it only for the value of a classic piece of furniture, not for the sound. But when buy it for the sound quality, you know what a piano sounds like compared to all the high end electronic pianos sound. This casio sounds so much better than 90% of the pianos I've played within the houses of people I've visited. The speakers are more than ample for most typical uses. High notes sound like they originate from the right of center while the opposite is true for low notes, identical to you would anticipate from an acoustic piano. Such full and practical sound from a compact package is shocking.
Options: Privia PX 130 has several other sounds apart from the standard piano. Not everybody will discover use for the entire sounds, but all of the sounds shall be useful to many people. This keyboard would be well worth it only for the piano sound; the others make for a fantastic bonus. You can split the keyboard to play two totally different sounds. There's a library of songs built into the memory that are readily accessible. You can even transfer records data from your laptop to be performed on the keyboard.
I gladly gave it 5 stars. Casio must be rewarded for what they have performed with PX-130. You'll want to have a look at Casio before trying the other product. They've successfully reinvented themselves and users are the beneficiaries. So, in order for you a easy, mild, 88-key keyboard that sounds and appears like a very good quality piano, don't hesitate to purchase the Casio PX 130. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
