Heywood Wakefield corner cabinet, how much?

We have a Heywood Wakefield corner cabinet (M 176) that we want to sell. It is in good condition and has the champagne finish. Any ideas on a price range we should consider????

Congratulations! You've got a really cool piece. M176, the corner cabinet (or bookcase), is getting harder to come by these days. I'd love to have one myself!

According to Rouland's Heywood Wakefield Modern Furniture Identification and Value Guide, M176 is in the $1,000 - $1,250 range. That price reflects a perfect condition, with as close to the original finish as possible. According to this guide, that includes a professional refinish, since the original wasn't meant to last 50 years. Most of the HeyWake stuff out now doesnt look much like the original finish, because of exposure to sun, smoke, etc.

I would say your best bet (if you're wanting to sell) is to post it to ebay or craigslist (i've had lots of luck with craigslist lately) and aim high. I would shoot for $800-$900 (depending on the condition) and go from there.
