Hang them from the stove or even a peg on the wall. When you get creative in displaying your kitchen supplies, youll be able to save both space and money in your galley kitchen.
Choose Lighter Colors for the Kitchens Dcor
Galley kitchens tend to be on the small side, so you want to stay away from dark colors when choosing your main color scheme. Remember, dark painted walls make a room look much smaller and lighter colors can make the same room look bigger.
For your walls, youre going to want to choose a neutral color like cream or white. You might also want to stay away from dark colors for your cabinets and countertops. Fixing a spot on a solid oak bookcase headboard?
Something dripped on my solid oak bookcase headboard. After I washed the sticky dark spot away away there now a spot with an uneven feeling and much lighter stain. I tried old English furniture polish and cover pens. Is there a was to fix it right instead of just minimizing it?
To do it right you will have to sand it down to get the varnish or protective coat off of it then wipe some matching stain on it. Recoat with varnish once you have it matching. It might take several light sandings to get where you want to be.
