There are things to consider when buying cushions besides the fact that it looks beautiful. This article looks at some of the important considerations to bear in mind when selecting new cushions for your chairs.
It would be a simple thing to walk into a shop and buy the first kind of cushions that you come across just because they are cheap. The thing that you need to ask yourself is will the cushions complement the other things in your house. Choosing the right chair cushions is basically part of interior designing and decorating of your home and so should be given more thought than just picking it out low priced cushions.

For those that are considering buying cheap cushions let me point out what that means . The material used on these cushions is not strong, the padding is thin and the quality is not something you can rely on. Buying cheap cushions means that you will be visiting the furniture shops soon because they do not have a long life.
Besides the fact that they are comfortable you are also assured that they will last you longer. Let me just quickly point out a few things you should note when you are choosing the right chair cushions.
Size is something that you should not overlook or underestimated. Small cushions will not fit nicely and make for uncomfortable sitting. Find out if the material on the cushions is stain resistant or not. If they are not; you can always treat them yourself with stain guard for easy washing and maintenance.
The material that you choose should be durable and strong. Some fabrics that you might consider are canvas denim and corduroy. As you shop around for the right chair cushions look for ones that have removable covers. These are just a few of things that you could look out for even though there are more.

I'm deciding on an office chair to get and I can't decide between this one :

I would go for the first option. why?
Neutral:
- They look about the same in styling so I'm assuming that the look is acceptable for both. Both are black leather, both have nylon bases etec.
Negatives:
The first is more expensive
Positives:
The first has a lumbar support - If you plan on using the chair often and for long periods of time, the lumbar support will be a big benefit.
The first appears to have better padding in the seat and back.
The first has a better design for comfort for the back.
The first has the treated leather which makes it "softer"
